Facundo Ferreyra

Newcastle United signed Facundo Ferreyra from Shakhtar Donetsk during the summer of 2014 on the recommendation of captain Fabricio Coloccini.

Deemed not good enough of strong enough to play even one minute of Premier League football, this goes down as the worst transfer of the Alan Pardew era.

Why they trusted Coloccini and not their own scouts is almost as baffling as why they signed the man.
