Siem de Jong opened the scoring in double quick time, before Cheick Tiote found himself one on one with Boaz Myhill and slotted home.
From then on in, it was a procession as Aleksandar Mitrovic scored after a typically powerful run – while Sylvain Marveaux and Vurnon Anita finished the scoring.
Anita’s strike was the pick of the litter as the midfielder received the ball outside the area and thumped it home after one touch. The Dutchman was only on the pitch for a matter of second, and it was an outstanding finish.
The Marveaux goal was also excellent, and it only took three passes to go from back to front and in the goal.
