Game two: Formation 4-2-3-1
Team: Rob Elliot / Paul Dummett, Fabricio Coloccini, Chancel Mbemba, Daryl Janmaat / Georginio Wijnaldum, Cheick Tiote / Florian Thauvin, Siem de Jong , Moussa Sissoko / Ayoze Perez

Newcastle United did what they are so good at doing – snatching a draw from the clutches of victory.

The Magpies made a great start, and restricted West Bromwich Albion to only sniffing at the ball. Spanish striker Ayoze Perez grabbed his first of the game from a delightfully curled effort outside of the penalty area – with the assist going to Moussa Sissoko.

However, the Baggies were able to claw there way back into the action thanks to a first half strike from Salmon Rondon. The new signing found himself in acres of space inside the penalty box and coolly slotted home.

West Brom then found themselves ahead thanks to some shocking distribution from Rob Elliot – who passed the ball straight to the feet of Jonny Evans. The defender, surprisingly station up front, powered the ball into the back of the net from close range.

All was not lost, however, as Perez scored the equaliser with minutes to go. He was the quickest to react to a loose ball inside the area and poked home from six yards out.
