Alexandre Lacazette might seem like a pipe dream to Newcastle United fans, but this transfer isn’t as far off as it might seem.

The bigger clubs have seemingly cooled their interest in the French forward for now, while Lacazette seems eager to leave Lyon.

Speaking shortly after the January transfer window, the hotshot criticised his club’s president, saying he was ‘hurt and dissapointed’ with their actions during recent contract negotiations.
