This League Cup blockbuster saw something even rarer than a Nile Ranger goal – an Emmanuel Riviere goal!

In fact, the Frenchman struck twice as the game went to extra time. After hitting an equaliser in the 36th minute, the Magpies were awarded a penalty which the former Monaco man converted.

Paul Dummett then scored one in the 112th minute to seal the win for Newcastle.
