Newcastle transfers: Five players linked this week

Tom Lees has been linked with a transfer from Sheffield Wednesday to Newcastle by the Chronicle.
Valued at around £7m, the Championship defender has also attracted interest from Premier League side Norwich City.
The Magpies need defensive cover, and want to buy more British players, so Lees ticks two boxes as far as head coach Steve McLaren is concerned.
The price might be a stumbling block, however, as £7m is a hefty sum for a player without any top flight experience.
