Ashley Cole

The Express broke the news, via Italian paper Corriere dello Sport, that Newcastle are interested in bringing for Chelsea man Ashley Cole to Tyneside.

The 34-year-old wants to end his time with AS Roma, where he has failed to make an appearance this season and was left out of the Champions League squad.

If the move went ahead, it would bring Cole back to the city where his ex-wife Cheryl was born. Awks.
