Kevin Mbabu

Kevin Mbabu only made his breakthrough two weeks ago, so his inclusion on this list may seem premature.

However, when you consider the nature of the chance handed to him, that hamstring injury could not have come at a worse time.

Picked because Paul Dummitt and Massadio Haïdara were both out injured, Mbabu excelled against Chelsea and Manchester City and this was his chance to make the position his own!

Until he got injured.
