Newcastle United head coach Steve McClaren confirmed that Dutch duo Siem de Jong and Vurnon Anita will be in the squad to face Bournemouth.

Both players have been missing for some time: De Jong with an unfortunate eye injury and Anita after he suffered a hamstring problem.

The Magpies official twitter account reported: “McClaren confirmed Siem de Jong and Vurnon Anita will be in the squad but Fabricio Coloccini and Chancel Mbemba are not fit.”
