Newcastle United head coach Steve McClaren has labelled his side as ‘frustrating’ to work with.

The difference in form between home and away performances has been remarkable, and several players seem unable to raise their game when playing away from St. James’ Park.

McClaren, for one, has found that hard to deal with. “This is the most frustrating team I’ve worked with,” the Chronicle reported that he said. “After West Brom we showed our ability with a fantastic performance appreciated by the crowd.

“The next performance is 5-1 and it could have been nine or 10,” concluded the boss.
