Sylvain Marveaux

Sylvain Marveaux arrived at Newcastle United with a reputation he never managed to live up to.

After over 100 games for Rennes in the French top flight, Alan Pardew signed Marveaux on a five-year deal.

After only 13 starts, 52 games, two goals and nine assists, it looks highly unlikely that the Frenchman will be at St. James’ Park next season.
