Ian Rush

Newcastle United manager Kenny Dalglish signed Ian Rush on a one-year deal.

However, he lost is place in the team to Alan Shearer after Christmas. During his career, he only scored two cup goals.

After a total of 0 league strikes, Rush had a loan spell with Sheffield United before signing for Wrexham.
